HSBC is a multinational bank and a company that holds financial services with its headquarter in UK, London. It is the 7th largest bank all across the world as far as its total assets are concerned and in Europe it is the largest (until Dec 2016). Being one of the most trustworthy, loyal and oldest banks, HSBC offers Travel Money services which can be done online or through the bank directly. These services are 100% safe .
The minimum value of the order should be 100 pounds. For any order made online, the payment should be made by a plastic card (debit or credit) which is a card of HSBC issued in UK or cards of either M&S Bank or First Direct. For orders placed over the phone, the debit would happen from the HSBC bank account. For branch orders, customers have the choice to choose in between card or bank account debit.
The currency denominations keep changing from time to time so a customer has to keep checking on and off to check the availability. The exchange rate would be the same as it is while placing the order or while doing the Buy Back. The customer has the option to confirm the rate before placing the order. The exchange rate for buy-back might be different to that of Travel Money.

Any additional charges would be informed to the customer before the order gets confirmed. Any order less than 250 pounds has a delivery charge of 3 pounds and 95 pence. When Travel Money is purchased through any of the permissible cards, there is a transaction handling fee of 1.5% (minimum of 4 pounds and a maximum of 15 pounds).
For any order that is placed before 2pm and is online in between Mon - Fri, the delivery usually happens by 1 pm of the next working day. The cut off time for branch orders is 3 pm and the turn around time for the delivery stays the same. For any order on a non working day and beyond the cut off time for either of the modes, the turn around time is after 2 working days by 1pm.
