Credit Card providers are out to tempt new customers this month and consumers should take advantage of them, according to a money expert.
"With credit cards, if you have a good credit rating ... you're much better off not being loyal to anyone, because of all the introductory offers around," says banking specialist David Black.
Offers typically include 0 per cent on purchases or special rates for balance transfers he says, while some providers also offer cashback on purchases for a set period of time.
Consumers could make the most of their credit cards and other financial products if they take up these offers, according to David Black.
He cites the American Express platinum cashback credit card as an example – it offers five per cent cash back up to £100 during the first three months.
