International money transfer company Axia FX has launched a joint venture with telecommunications company Aether Mobile.
The two companies revealed that they will be working together to provide customers with even more opportunities to save money when buying foreign currency or conducting international money transfers for business or personal use.
Under the new joint venture, customers will be able to use Aether Mobile services to obtain comprehensive foreign currency exchange advice and avoid exorbitant rates of exchange and roaming charges when abroad.
Customers will also be able to gain helpful information about how to make international transfers from different regions.
In addition, Aether Mobile customers will be able to take advantage of a SIM card which is designed for use abroad and makes it free to receive calls in some 76 different countries worldwide and save up to 90 per cent when calling the UK.
Samantha Osborough of Aether Mobile said the new joint venture is expected to be well received by both Aether and Axia FX's customers.
"Our business is all about cost reducing benefits for our customers and we can now offer the benefit of Axia FX's competitive currency rates enabling us to offer additional travel cost savings," she said.
"We are obviously delighted that Axia FX feel the same about offering Aether Mobile to their customers too. It's a great combination of services to both companies' customers."
Launched in 2006, Axia FX trades in excess of £600 million in foreign currency every year and maintains a portfolio of more than 2,000 corporate clients and over 8,000 private clients.
