If the latter is the case for you then one industry expert has outlined some words of advice about using an emergency credit card.
In some cases, companies can cancel unused credit cards, so it’s best not to leave using it to a crucial moment when you really need to.
It’s suggested a way to combat this is to use it for a small regular monthly payment just to keep the account in good standing.
They also go onto say that your card can be used in many helpful ways including if you become stranded while travelling, if your car breaks down, or if your home becomes damaged and you need to arrange alternative accommodation.
